Misc
Here is a short overview of my learning projects at Daimler while studying my first degree. I especially focused on simulation.
2009 Daimler AG, Palo Alto, Kalifornien
Development of a cost-effective charging solution for plug-in electronic vehicles
- Proof of concept for plug-in battery charger integrated in the motor control unit.
- Simulated integrated battery charger in motor control using Simplorer SV.
- Designed the voltage control algorithm in ASM code using MPLAB and integrate on an evaluation motor control board.
2008 Daimler AG, Böblingen
Development of an algorithm to control reversible occupant restraint systems
- Simulated occupant movement using Matlab Simulink.
- Developed algorithm based on the analysis of the relationship between the occupant movement and vehicle movement.
- Designed the algorithm in C code using KEIL µVision and integrate on an evaluation board with a XC167 microcontroller into a mule vehicle.
2008 Daimler AG, Sindelfingen
Development of a tool to generate formatted navigation data
- Wrote a tool using C# and the .Net framework to easily generate, edit and display XML based navigation data for Windows PCs. The scope of work included the investigation for information and ways of solution as well as implementing and testing the code.
- Used tools: Microsoft Visual Studio, .Net 2.0 framework (C#).
2007 Daimler AG, Sindelfingen
Projekt: “Linienrichter”
- Development of a miniaturized, autonomous driving,
lane searching car, controlled by an Atmel microcontroller, sensing the
environment by ultrasonic sensors and optical lane sensors.
- Integrated a switching regulator board for DC supply
and a battery holder into the prototype car.
- Used tools: EAGLE (board layout).
2006 Daimler AG, Sindelfingen
Training program
- Practical courses in analog, digital and power
electronics, programming C++ and assembler for an 8051 controller.
- Improved personal skills during presentation and communication seminars.
Special recognition for taking over responsibility in the student administration. |
